Thanks for visiting my website. I am a UK-based, commercial photographer.
I began my professional photography career when my wife and I moved to Singapore in 2010. During my time in Singapore I worked with a range of clients and companies, from small NGOs to global corporations. I have taken photos in studios, boardrooms, underwater and even in the minefields of Laos. At every stage my photography has evolved: every shoot, client and location teaches me something new about this incredible and ever-evolving medium.
Some of my clients know exactly the type of image they want from the outset. Whereas for others, part of the reason for hiring a professional is to draw on my knowledge and experience to help shape their project. Either way, I am committed to delivering beautiful photographs of exceptional quality for every client. I also believe that photo shoots should be enjoyable rather than stressful! I pride myself on clear and efficient communication, and my background in project management has proved invaluable in coordinating with clients during complex shoots.
In addition to my commercial work, I maintain one or two personal projects. Towards the end of my time in Singapore, I undertook a project shooting 50 portraits of 50 people from 50 different countries to celebrate Singapore’s 50th independence anniversary. This project was published as a hardback coffee table book in November 2015.
If you require any further information or to check my availability for a shoot please do not hesitate to contact me. Give me a call, drop me a text, email me. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. tom@tomsoperphotography.com / +44 (0)7544 944 121
